Mission
Make independent American carriers more profitable than they could be alone — by giving them the market intelligence, negotiation weight and operational discipline that only large fleets normally have.
About us
MSM Transit was built by people who had seen freight from both sides of the phone — carrier operations and broker sales. The whole company rests on one idea: a well-run truck should never have to accept the first number.
Our story
The people who built this spent years on opposite sides of the same phone call. One ran operations for a mid-size carrier and watched profitable trucks lose money to poor planning. The other sat on the broker side and saw exactly how much room there usually was in the posted rate.
They agreed on the uncomfortable part: most carriers were not underpaid because the market was bad. They were underpaid because nobody on their side was working the market with the same intensity the broker was.
So we built a dispatch company where the carrier's economics are the only scoreboard — rate per mile, deadhead percentage, net per working day — and where every one of those numbers is reported back to the carrier in writing every Monday, flattering or not.
The rule we have never broken: the carrier approves every load before it is booked. Not a policy on a website — a clause in the agreement.

Spot & dedicated lanesMission, vision, values
Make independent American carriers more profitable than they could be alone — by giving them the market intelligence, negotiation weight and operational discipline that only large fleets normally have.
A freight market where a one-truck operation is priced on the quality of its service, not on how little leverage it has.
Transparency — you see the market rate and the booked rate. Consent — you approve every load. Measurement — if we cannot measure it, we do not claim it. Availability — someone answers at 2am.

Who we work with
Profile: 1–2 trucks, driving daily, self-dispatching between drives
What hurts: Losing revenue to low rates and losing evenings to paperwork
What they need: Higher rate per mile and time back
Profile: 5–25 trucks, out of the seat, running operations personally
What hurts: Operations capacity is the growth ceiling
What they need: A team that can absorb the next ten trucks
Profile: 25–100+ trucks with existing office staff
What hurts: Overflow capacity, after-hours gaps, compliance exposure
What they need: Specialist support without headcount
Operations
Capacity is the difference between a dispatch service that answers and one that does not.
Each dispatcher manages no more than 4 trucks, and that cap is written into the agreement, so they have time to negotiate rather than just cover.
Day, evening and overnight desks with a documented handover between each. Nothing gets dropped at shift change.
Your backup dispatcher is briefed weekly on your lanes and preferences — not meeting your account for the first time.
Every dispatcher is reviewed on rate versus benchmark, coverage rate and carrier response time.
Free dispatch audit
Not a salesperson. On the first call you speak with an operations lead who can tell you honestly whether we can improve your numbers.
60-second request
Tell us what you run. A dispatcher — not a call center — responds within one business hour with a rate strategy for your lanes.
