How much does dispatch service cost?
A percentage of gross revenue on the loads we book, quoted for your operation — equipment, lane mix, fleet size and how much of the back office you hand us all change the number. Accessorials such as detention, layover and TONU are not commissioned; that pay is yours. There is no setup fee, no monthly minimum and no per-load surcharge, and if your truck does not run in a given week you are not billed for that week. Call or text and you will have your figure on the first call, in writing.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. Our agreement runs week to week and either side can end it with 15 days written notice. Carriers stay because the numbers work.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The percentage covers dispatch, broker negotiation, setups, documentation, check calls and billing. Optional services such as full compliance management are quoted separately in writing before they begin.
Do you charge for loads I find myself?
No. We only bill on loads our team books and manages.
What do I need to sign up?
Active MC authority, a certificate of insurance meeting standard broker requirements ($100k cargo / $1M auto liability is typical), a W-9 and a signed dispatch agreement. If you are still setting up authority, we can guide you through the sequence.
How fast can you get me moving?
Most carriers are booked on their first load within 24 hours of completing onboarding. Broker setups run in parallel with load search so nothing waits on paperwork.
Do you work with brand-new authorities?
Yes, as long as the truck is longer than 26 ft. Under 6 months of authority limits which brokers will work with you, and we are direct about that. We build a lane plan around brokers who do onboard new authority and expand the board as you age in.
What size trucks do you dispatch? Do you take sprinter or cargo vans?
We dispatch Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Step Deck, Conestoga, Power Only, Hotshot, Box Truck, RGN / Lowboy and Heavy Haul — every rig longer than 26 ft, new authorities included. Not a fit: sprinter vans, cargo vans and 16 ft box trucks. That includes box trucks longer than 26 ft. The brokers and freight we work are built around larger equipment, and we would rather tell you now than after onboarding.
Can I keep my current broker relationships?
Absolutely. We work your existing relationships alongside new ones, and those relationships remain yours if you ever leave.
Do you have forced dispatch?
Never. Every load is presented with rate, broker, lane, appointment times and any accessorials before booking. You approve it or you do not. This is written into the agreement, not just promised.
Who do I talk to every day?
A named dispatcher assigned to your truck, plus a briefed backup for their days off. Each dispatcher manages a maximum of 4 trucks, and that cap is in the agreement.
What are your hours?
The dispatch desk is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays — by people, not a voicemail box.
What happens if I break down?
Call the emergency line. We reschedule the load with the broker, coordinate the shop and manage the delivery expectations. You handle the truck; we handle everyone who is waiting on it.
Who invoices the broker?
We do, the same day your documents are complete, with every accessorial included. You get a weekly cash-flow summary of invoiced, funded and outstanding revenue.
Do I need a factoring company?
Not necessarily. Factoring buys speed at a cost. We will model both scenarios against your actual cash cycle and help you decide — we take no undisclosed referral fees either way.
What happens when a broker does not pay?
We work a structured escalation at 15, 30, 45 and 60 days and pursue bond claims where warranted. Brokers with a payment history problem come off your board permanently.
Who handles detention and TONU claims?
We do — filed with documentation and followed until resolved, and reported to you as claimed, paid or disputed.
Do you handle DOT compliance?
Yes, as a dedicated service: CSA monitoring, DQ file maintenance, IFTA preparation, drug & alcohol consortium coordination and audit readiness.
Can you fix my CSA score?
We can challenge incorrect violations through DataQs with supporting evidence. Legitimate violations age out over 24 months — the real work is preventing the next one.
Do you provide insurance?
We are not an insurance agency. We help you understand broker requirements, maintain your COI and NOA distribution, and connect you with transportation-specialized agents.
Still deciding?
Ask us the awkward question.
Whatever a previous dispatcher did to you, ask us about it directly. Forced dispatch, surprise fees, unreachable at night, invoices never sent — we would rather answer it now than have you find out later.
